That all novelty is but oblivion

Using remains of historical events, I have aimed to rebuild and re-think some narrations. These events are from various eras that evoke different meanings depending on the audience’s viewpoint based on their individual and collective memory. The experience we’ve had in real life, and the experience of it now faced with the work of art, are both manipulated and deceiving. In these two panels, I have tried to build a place to address the distance and the exchange between the people and the messenger, regardless of who is the orator and who are his audience. This piece is a midway between destruction and reconstruction, I’ve tried to draw the viewers’ attention to the presence and absence of sound and picture this unimaginable concept.
