How can one stand on two contrary grounds and be both a victim and a victimiser simultaneously? The main reason for creating this collection is my interest in the human body, gender and sexuality stereotypes imposed by society; Ritual practices, traditions or the way things are done by the majority of people and the later generations repeating them. I have entered this cycle of repetition by copying old paintings. This mutilation is done in a remorseless manner, but its hidden procedures are never seen.
